Game Objective: The primary goal is to defeat the Champion of the Elite Four. Once achieved, you have completed the game mode. However, you may continue playing to further challenge your skills such as battling the 9th, 10th, or 11th gym, possibly even the Legend Four.
Randomization: All Pokémon encounters, trainer Pokémon, Gym leader team Pokémon, and starter Pokémon are randomized.
Tips & Tricks
NPC Interactions: NPCs are a valuable source of assistance. Enter buildings and speak with NPCs, as they often provide useful tips or items, including an Eevee, a Magikarp, Leftovers, and a Lucky Egg.
Static Encounters: Ensure you take advantage of the three static encounters available—Regirock, Spiritomb and Celebi. These encounters can significantly bolster (strengthen) your team.
Team Management: Maintain a full team at all times, even if some members are underleveled. This approach ensures you have backup options and can use less critical Pokémon for safe switching during battles.
Casino Tickets: In Saffron City, you receive 10 casino tickets. These tickets can be crucial, offering rewards such as Battle Points (BP) and Master Balls, which are essential for your progress.
Elite Four Preparation: The Elite Four's Pokémon are EV-trained. Enter these battles only when you are confident in your team’s level and training. Proper preparation is key to avoid defeat. View here to learn how to EV/IV train Pokémon.
Orange HardFight: If you're really struggling for money and your Pokémon are well trained, you can head over to the Orange Entity located in Mt. Moon. This HardFight can be difficult if you don't use the proper tactics. This battle can give you a whopping 450,000 Pokédollars.
Effective Strategy for Completing the HardFight Battle
To efficiently complete the HardFight battle, consider employing the following tactics with a Spiritomb:
PP Stalling: Deplete the opponent's Power Points (PP) to limit their move usage, ultimately making them use struggle which depletes a massive amount of their HP while doing little damage to you.
Toxic Stalling: Inflict the opponent with Toxic to steadily decrease their HP.
Will-O-Wisp Stalling: Use Will-O-Wisp to burn the opponent, reducing their attack power and causing residual damage.
Using a Spiritomb with the Pressure ability can enhance these stalling strategies by further exhausting the opponent's PP by 2 per use of Dev-Zeraora's moves instead of just 1.
Post Completion
Upon successfully beating the Elite Four in Nuzlocke mode, you will be rewarded with a special prize. This reward can be claimed in normal mode in only one of your three save files.
How to Claim Your Reward
Select a Save Slot: Choose any one of your three normal mode save slots to claim the reward. Ensure that this save file has beaten Gym 8 or higher.
Head to Victory Road: Enter Victory Road in the chosen save slot.
Locate the Reward Rocks: At the end of Victory Road, just to the right of the exit, you will find rocks with colored details. The rocks are color-coded as follows:
Green: Nuzlocke
Red: Randomizer
Yellow: Randomizer-Nuzlocke
Interact with the Red Rock: Click on the symbol on the red detailed rock to receive your reward.
Reward Details
Spectrier: For your valiant efforts in the Randomizer game mode, you will receive a Spectrier. This special reward acknowledges your accomplishment and can be used in your normal mode save file.
Glastrier: In addition to your valiant efforts in the Randomizer game mode, you will also receive a Glastrier. This special reward acknowledges your accomplishment and can be used in your normal mode save file.
