Defeating Marie will earn you the Dark Badge, a major milestone on your way toward completing the Gym circuit.
Location
To reach the Gym, you must first gain access to Aether Paradise. Head to Vermillion City and make your way down to the Dock. There, you’ll find an NPC who offers to teleport you to Aether Paradise once you've earned all 8 previous Gym Badges. The Aether Gym is located within Aether Paradise itself.
